YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Barton women's lacrosse team (3-5, 1-1) was dealt a 15-11 loss to Young Harris (4-3, 2-0) Saturday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas game at Mountain Lions Field.
Young Harris' Addison Heiser (Greer, S.C.) led all scorers with four goals while Mary Troyer (Johns Creek, Ga.) totaled six points – three goals and three assists – as the Mountain Lions held off a late charge by the Bulldogs to remain unbeaten in league play.

Julia Erickson (Sunderland, Md.) and freshman attacker
Jessica Olds (Medina, Pa.) – scored three times to lead the visitors despite the setback.
Barton scored three straight goals to cut the margin to 13-11 with just over nine minutes left but couldn't get any closer the rest of the way.
In goal, Wingate's Alyssa Rosenfeld (Saint Augustine, Fla.) played the first half and earned the win after making three saves while freshman goalkeeper
Alexandra Ashton (Chantilly, Va.) suffered the loss for the Bulldogs after making two stops.
Barton returns home to host league-foe Southern Wesleyan on Saturday, March 21, as part of Senior Day beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Meanwhile, Young Harris hosts Emmanuel in a conference contest on Tuesday, March 17, starting at 6:00 p.m.
