WILSON, N.C. – The Barton men's basketball team (9-14, 7-8) puts its three-game losing streak to end with an 89-74 triumph over King (8-13, 6-7) Saturday afternoon at Wilson Gymnasium in Conference Carolinas action.

Sean Quick-Streeter (Columbia, S.C.) came off the bench to score a team-high 23 points while junior forward
Trey Fields (Clayton, N.C.) added 23 points as well and pulled down 15 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the season in the win.
Barton held a 44-34 edge at halftime then pulled away after intermission to lead by as much as 21 points – 82-61 with just over five minutes – in the triumph.
Barton shot 56 percent (19-of-34) in the decisive second half in snaping King's three-game winning streak. Four players reached double figures, led by Jeremias Berchal's (Lake Mary, Fla.) 16 points, for the Tornado in the setback.
Barton hits the road to take on its rival, Mount Olive, on Wednesday night in a conference contest in Mount Olive, N.C., beginning at 7:00 p.m.
King stays away from home on Tuesday, February 10, when the Tornado takes on Converse in Spartanburg, S.C., starting at 7:00 p.m.
