BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Barton baseball team (2-9, 1-6) fell to King (5-10, 3-4) Friday afternoon at the Tornado Complex by a 9-3 score.
King's Tommy Regan (Gulf Breeze, Fla.) hit a three-run home run in the first inning and added a run-scoring double in the fourth frame to finish with four RBI to lead the home to the win.
The Tornado's Ben Hale (Cedar Bluff, Va.) (2-2) earned the victory on the mound after allowing just two runs while pitching into the sixth inning to go along with eight strikeouts.

Giuseppe Seidita (Manhasset Hills, N.Y.) finished with a pair of hits including a two-run double in the sixth frame to help the Bulldogs avoid the shutout in the setback.

Mason McDougall (Tampa, Fla.) (0-2) was tagged with the loss for the visitors.
The two teams wrap up the league series with a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at Noon.
