FLORENCE, S.C. – The Barton men's basketball team (13-15, 11-9) wrapped up the regular season with an 87-80 win over Francis Marion (7-21, 7-13) Wednesday night in a Conference Carolinas contest at Smith University Center.

Sean Quick-Streeter (Columbia, S.C.) both scored a game-high 28 points as the Bulldogs avenged an earlier overtime loss to the Patriots at home.
The Bulldogs also showed their prowess from the charity stripe, connecting on 22-of-24 (92 percent) attempts including an 11-of-12 performance from Quick-Streeter. The Bulldogs also shot 50 percent (29-of-58) from the floor in the triumph.
Francis Marion was led by Farid SaintCyr, Jr. (Miami, Fla.) with 27 points off the bench but the Patriots dropped their seventh straight contest.
Barton is the seventh seed in the 2026 Conference Carolinas Championship and will take on No. 12 Shorter on Sunday beginning at 5:00 p.m., in Franklin Springs, Ga.
Francis Marion is seeded 11th in the league tournament and will face No. 8 Southern Wesleyan on Sunday evening in Murfreesboro, N.C., beginning at 7:00 p.m.
