WILSON, N.C. – The Barton men's basketball team (8-13, 6-7) couldn't hold a 13-point second-half advantage in an 81-76 loss to Ferrum (12-7, 10-3) Friday evening in a Conference Carolinas game on Ron Lievense Court at Wilson Gymnasium.
Ferrum's Gerren Jones (Swansboro, N.C.) led all scorers with 33 points and hit five treys while Rodrigo Farias (Queens, N.Y.) added 22 points as the duo helped the visitors rally to complete the season sweep of the Bulldogs.

Trey Fields (Clayton, N.C.) led the home team with a double-double – 23 points and 11 rebounds – but the Bulldogs couldn't hold a 58-45 advantage with just under 15 minutes left in suffering their second straight setback.

Barton hits the road to take on Southern Wesleyan in a conference contest on Wednesday, February 4, at 7:00 p.m., in Central, S.C.
