TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Barton men's lacrosse team (3-9, 2-4) suffered a 19-8 loss to North Greenville (9-5, 6-0) Saturday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas game at Pepsi Stadium.
Four players scored three times for the Trailblazers – led by Caden Castle's (Fuquay-Varina, N.C.) three goals and four assists – as North Greenville won its fourth straight game and clinched at least a share of the conference regular season championship.
Trailing by a 2-1 score late in the first period, North Greenville took control by scoring nine straight goals for a 10-2 advantage at intermission and never looked back.

Jimi Carter (Huntingtown, Md.) with three goals while senior midfielder
Bryce Washington (Humble, Texas) added a goal and a pair of assists in the losing effort.
Hayden Moffat (Airdrie, Alberta, CANADA) finished with three goals and a pair of assists and Gabe Nelson (Littleton, Colo.) earned the victory in goal after stopping 15 shots for the Trailblazers, who held advantages in both shots taken (52-30) and ground balls (37-23).

Barton remains on the road to take on Chowan in Murfreesboro, N.C., on Thursday evening beginning at 4:00 p.m., in a conference contest while North Greenville faces Lees-McRae on Friday, April 18, in Banner Elk, N.C., at 7:00 p.m.
