WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's lacrosse team (8-5, 4-1) saw its four-game winning streak with an 18-10 loss to Mount Olive (6-6, 5-1) in a Conference Carolinas showdown Tuesday night at Electric Supply Company Field and Truist Stadium.

The Trojans' Logan Hibbard (Rochester, N.Y.) scored a match-high five goals while Rileigh White (Syracuse, N.Y.) scored four times as Mount Olive ran its winning streak to five matches.

Holding a 7-6 advantage with just over three minutes into the second stanza, Mount Olive took control by scoring the next six goals over the second and third periods and the visitors stayed ahead by at least three goals the rest of the way.
