FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Barton women's lacrosse team (4-3, 2-0) scored with 17 seconds left in overtime to beat Emmanuel (3-3, 0-1), 12-11, in a Conference Carolinas contest Saturday afternoon at Stephens Field.

Avery Woodcock (Wilmington, N.C.) scored the game-winner and finished with three goals as the Bulldogs ran their winning streak to three contests and remained unbeaten in league play. Woodcock also tallied a pair of assists to finish with a team-high five points.

Kate Matuza (Hampstead, N.C.), another senior attacker for the visitors, added three goals in the triumph.
Emmanuel, which scored twice in the final 60 seconds to force overtime, was led by Paige Murphy (Calgary, Alberta, CANADA) with a game-high four goals to increase her season total to 49.

Savannah Graves (Calvert County, Md.) earned the victory after tallying 13 saves. Emmanuel's Emily Dawson (Perth, AUSTRALIA) took the loss in goal despite nine stops on the day.
Barton returns home to host Findlay (Ohio) on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m., at Electric Supply Company Field and Truist Stadium while Emmanuel hosts Lake Erie on Tuesday beginning at 1:00 p.m.
