DUE WEST, S.C. – The Barton men's volleyball team (10-7, 5-1) continued to keep pace at the top of the Conference Carolinas standings with a 3-1 victory over Erskine (7-8, 3-4) on Saturday afternoon at Belk Arena.
The Bulldogs defeated the Flying Fleet by scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-21 and 25-17 for their second straight victory.
Barton was paced by senior outside hitter
Jack Sandahl (Gloucester, Va.) with a match-high 19 kills to along with 11 digs for a double-double while freshman outside hitter
Lawson Hink (Brookfield, Wis.) notched a double-double as well – 11 kills and 16 digs – as the Bulldogs held a 58-41 edge in kills in the triumph.

Seth Deppe (Mukwonago, Wis.) had an outstanding all-around match with 40 assists, nine digs and six kills as the visitors held the Flying Fleet to a .145 hitting percentage.
Erskine was led by Allen Faison (Orlando, Fla.) with 16 kills and Gino Briglio (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) with 37 assists in the setback.
Barton remains on the road to take on Catawba in Salisbury, N.C., on Friday, March 7, at 7:00 p.m., while Erskine faces Saint Francis (Pa.) at home on Wednesday starting at 6:00 p.m.
