MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Barton women's volleyball team (8-17, 5-13) won its second consecutive match with a 3-0 sweep of Chowan (5-20, 4-13) Wednesday evening at Bob Burke Court and the Hawks Athletic Center.
The Bulldogs won over the Hawks by 25-18, 25-22 and 26-24 and swept the season series from Chowan.

Bailey McIntyre (Mooresville, N.C.) led the way with a match-high 14 kills while sophomore setter
Paige Bagwell (Kings Mountain, N.C.) tallied a double-double – 30 assists and 10 digs – in the triumph.
Chowan's Anna Holcombe (Wake Forest, N.C.) finished with a team-high eight kills to go along with seven digs but the Hawks suffered their fifth straight loss.
Barton also totaled eight service aces in the win.
Barton hosts new league member Ferrum on Friday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Wilson Gymnasium for Senior Night.
Meanwhile, Chowan travels to Pembroke, N.C., to take on UNC Pembroke in a conference match on Friday starting at 6:00 p.m.
