WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's volleyball team (10-17, 7-13) wrapped up the regular season with a 3-1 victory over UNC Pembroke (16-14, 13-7) Tuesday evening in a Conference Carolinas contest at Wilson Gymnasium.
The Bulldogs won over the Braves by scores of 25-16, 25-17, 21-25 and 25-11 for their fourth straight victory.

Bailey McIntyre (Mooresville, N.C.) tallied a monster double-double – 18 kills and 18 digs – while senior outside hitter
Lexi Wasil (Prescott, Ariz.) added 17 kills as the Bulldogs avenged an earlier loss to the Braves.

Paige Bagwell (Kings Mountain, N.C.) finished with 38 assists and the Bulldogs tallied 11 service aces in the win.
UNC Pembroke's Abby Peduzzi (Hilton Head, S.C.) led the visitors with 13 kills but the Braves saw their four-match winning streak snapped.
Barton will be the 12th seed in the Conference Carolinas Championship and will face seventh-seeded Shorter (15-13) on Sunday in the opening round of the championship. The winner will face sixth-seeded UNC Pembroke later in the day in the second round starting at 1:30 p.m.
