WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's volleyball team (5-13, 2-9) fell to Lees-McRae (7-12, 7-5) by a 3-1 score Friday evening in a Conference Carolinas match at Wilson Gymnasium.
The Bobcats won over the Bulldogs by scores of 25-17, 25-22, 23-25 and 25-14 for their second consecutive triumph.
Lees-McRae was led by Sydney Stigler (Cincinnati, Ohio) with 11 kills while Iza Rosin (Sao Paulo, BRAZIL) added a double-double – 33 assists and 11 digs – in the victory.
The Bobcats also tallied 10 service aces and limited the Bulldogs to a 0.097 hitting percentage.

Bailey McIntyre (Mooresville, N.C.) led the home team with 11 kills and 19 assists while sophomore libero
Kylie Simpson (Lexington, Ky.) finished with a match-high 23 assists in the losing effort.
Barton looks to bounce back on Saturday at Noon as the Bulldogs take on conference-foe King.
Lees-McRae, meanwhile, takes on Chowan Saturday afternoon starting at 1:00 p.m., in Murfreesboro, N.C.
