BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – The Barton women's soccer team (3-1-1) shut out Bluefield State (1-4), 3-0, Tuesday afternoon at the East River Soccer Complex.
Barton graduate student forward
Lexis Goldberg (Sanford, N.C.) scored twice while sophomore midfielder
Lilly Moss (Prairieville, La.) found the back of the net for her first goal of the season as the Bulldogs held a 27-2 advantage in shots taken in the dominant victory.
Goldberg leads the team with four goals on the young season while senior goalkeeper
Taylor Primack (Lindenhurst, Ill.), the reigning Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Week, earned her fourth consecutive shutout after stopping a pair of shots on the afternoon.
