WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's soccer team (1-1-1) opened the 2024 home portion of its schedule with a scoreless tie with Coker (2-0-1) Wednesday evening at the Bulldogs Athletic Complex.
Barton and Coker both tallied 11 shots on the evening while Bulldog senior
Taylor Primack (Lindenhurst, Ill.) and the Cobras' Rhyan Parkin (Huntersville, S.C.) both earned shutouts in goal for their respective teams.
Primack made a half-dozen saves while Parkin stopped three shots on the evening.
Barton hits the road to take on Virginia State in Ettrick, Va., on Saturday afternoon beginning at 1:00 p.m., while Coker hosts Limestone on Saturday starting at 7:00 p.m.
