MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The Barton women's lacrosse team (5-10, 2-5) fell to rival Mount Olive (11-3, 6-0) by a 24-11 score Monday evening in a Conference Carolinas contest at the Ray McDonald, Sr., Sports Complex.
The Trojans' Teagan Dunnett (Mission, British Columbia, CANADA) scored six times while Logan Hibbard (Rochester, N.Y.) and Rileigh White (East Syracuse, N.Y.) both scored five times as the Trojans remained the lone unbeaten team in league play.

Kloe Martin (Dracut, Mass.) scored a team-high four goals and junior midfielder
Tamia Marshall (Wilmington, N.C.) found the back of the net three times but the Bulldogs couldn't keep pace with the Trojans.
Mount Olive held advantages in both shots taken (41-22) and ground balls (32-18) while Anna James (Syracuse, N.Y.) earned the victory in goal after stopping nine shots on the evening. Barton junior
Savannah Graves (Calvert County, Md.) made 11 saves but suffered the loss.
Barton returns home to take on Southern Wesleyan for Senior Day at Noon on Saturday in a league contest at Truist Stadium while Mount Olive travels to Murfreesboro, N.C., to face Chowan on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m.
