WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's lacrosse team (2-5) suffered a 16-4 loss to Kutztown (Pa.) (3-1), 16-4, Monday evening at Electric Supply Company Field and Truist Stadium.
The Golden Bears' Olivia Eilbacher (Cherry Hill, N.J.) and Sam Graf (Wayne, N.J.) scored four and three goals, respectively, while Emma Meakim (Hatboro, Pa) totaled seven points – two goals and five assists – as Kutztown raced to a 13-2 halftime lead and never looked back in the win.

Danielle Lester (Columbus, Ga.) scored three of the Bulldogs' four goals in the losing effort.
Kutztown held advantages in both shots taken (33-13) and ground balls (21-15) while Jenna Blesson (Sparta, N.J.) earned the win in goal after playing the first half and stopping two shots.

Barton travels to Belmont, N.C., to take on Belmont Abbey on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m., in the Conference Carolinas opener while Kutztown hosts Shippensburg on Wednesday, March 20, at 3:00 p.m.
