WILSON, N.C. – The Barton football team (3-6, 2-5) put on its best offensive performance of the season in a wild 49-35 victory over Catawba (2-7, 1-6) Saturday afternoon in a South Atlantic Conference Piedmont Division contest on Homecoming in front of over 3,000 fans at Electric Supply Company Field and Truist Stadium.

Jackson Parrish (Graham, N.C.) ran for 152 yards and three touchdowns as the Bulldogs rolled up a season-high 539 yards of total offense in the victory.

The Bulldogs and Indians traded scores from there and the fourth quarter produced 35 points alone. Catawba's quarterback, Mason Fortune (Raleigh, N.C.), passed for 348 yards but threw two costly picks while Quece Williams (Columbia, S.C.) scored on three touchdown runs despite the loss.
Barton hits the road to take on Limestone on Saturday, November 9, at Noon in Gaffney, S.C., in a league contest while Catawba hosts Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
