Johnson tied the score at one in the 19th minute before her second free kick from over 30 yards out at the 69:48 mark of the contest won the match for the home team. Barton also picked up its first victory since a 3-0 triumph over Erskine on Saturday, September 21, at Truist Stadium.
Chowan's Mya Turner (London, ENGLAND) headed the ball into the net off a corner kick from Abigail Simon (Cape Girardeau, Mo.) just 20 seconds before Johnson's first goal.
Barton senior goalkeeper
Taylor Primack (Lindenhurst, Ill.) earned the victory in goal after stopping five shots on the day while Chowan's goalkeeper, Kirsten Peterson (Medway, Mass.), suffered the loss despite three saves.
