WILSON, N.C. – The Barton men's volleyball team (5-17) notched its second consecutive five-set triumph with a 3-2 victory over Tusculum (9-16) Friday evening at Wilson Gymnasium.

The Bulldogs prevailed by scores of 26-24, 21-25, 19-25, 25-23 and 15-12 as the home team rallied from a 2-1 deficit to win sets four and five.

Barton was led by sophomore outside hitter Jack Sandahl (Gloucester, Va.) with a career-high 15 kills while sophomore middle blocker Benjamin Wiechert (Suffolk, Va.) added 12 kills as the Bulldogs avenged a season-opening loss to the Pioneers on the road.
