WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's lacrosse team (9-7, 6-3) sent its Seniors off in style with a 22-5 victory over Chowan (1-12, 1-8) Friday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas game and the regular season finale at Truist Stadium and Electric Supply Company Field.

Taryn Ugliono (Hampstead, N.C.) both scored three times as the Bulldogs used a 10-goal third period to turn the contest in a rout.
Barton held sizable advantages in both shots taken (45-14) and ground balls (23-16) while sophomore goalkeeper
Savannah Graves (Calvert County, Md.) played the first half and registered the victory after stopping four shots. In addition, junior attacker
MacKenzie Camp (Rochester, N.Y.) added three assists to increase her team-high total for the year to 25 for the Bulldogs.
Chowan was led by Victoria Brown (Macungie, Pa.) with three goals but Ariel Johnson (Baltimore, Md.) suffered the loss in goal despite totaling 12 saves on the day.
Barton is guaranteed to host a 2023 Conference Carolinas Championship Quarterfinal match and will face fifth-seeded Emmanuel (7-9, 5-4) on Tuesday, April 25, at 4:00 p.m. The Bulldogs will be the fourth seed in this year's tournament.
