WILSON, N.C. – The Barton men's lacrosse team (7-6, 2-2) celebrated Senior Day in style with a dominant victory over Lees-McRae (0-11, 0-3), 19-6, Saturday afternoon at Electric Supply Company Field and Truist Stadium.

Nick Calleri (Holly Springs, N.C.) and sophomore attacker
Sam Lord (Wilmington, N.C.) both scored three goals as the Bulldogs used an 11-goal second period to break the contest open and snap a two-match losing streak.
Calleri added a pair of assists for five total points as the Bulldogs held decisive advantages in both shots taken (53-34) and ground balls (35-27) in the win. Barton senior attacker
Mason Chaney (Dunkirk, Md.) found the back of the net twice as well and now has a team-leading 32 goals on the season.

Giuseppe Brown (Spring Lake, N.C.) earned the victory after playing three periods and stopping six shots while Eddie Patterson (Central Valley, N.Y.) suffered the loss in goal for Lees-McRae despite six saves as well. The Bobcats' Ayden Fraelle (Peoria, Ill.) and Spence Combs (Magnolia, Texas) both scored twice in the losing effort.
Barton hits the road to take on Chowan in a league contest next Saturday, April 8, in Murfreesboro, N.C., while Lees-McRae travels to Franklin Springs, Ga., to face Emmanuel on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
