WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Barton men's lacrosse team (5-1) made it five victories in a row with a 17-12 win over Palm Beach Atlantic (0-4) Saturday afternoon at the Sailfish Complex.

Matt Calleri (Holly Springs, N.C.) tallied four goals and three assists while graduate student midfielder
Mark Crawford (Chesapeake Beach, Md.) totaled six points – three goals and three assists – as the Bulldogs outlasted the Sailfish.
Calleri broke a four-all tie with a man-up goal at the 3:15 mark of the opening period which proved to be the match-winner.
The Sailfish – still searching for their first victory of the year – were led by Neil Calkin (Hanover, Mass.) with three goals in the losing effort.
Barton held a 42-37 advantage in shots taken while freshman goalkeeper
Drew Wheeler (Fuquay-Varina, N.C.) made 13 saves in picking up the win. Palm Beach Atlantic's goalie, Ben Lightsey (Cypress, Texas), stopped eight shots but suffered the loss for the home team.
Barton takes on Rollins on Monday beginning at 7:00 p.m., in Winter Park, Fla., while Palm Beach Atlantic hosts Davis & Elkins Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.
