GOLDSBORO, N.C. – The Barton men's golf team took seventh overall at The Trojan which concluded Tuesday with the third and final round at the Walnut Creek Country Club.
The Bulldogs "B" Team carded a 906 (+42) on the par-72, 7,021-yard course while Mount Olive, the host institution, won the tournament with a six-under 858 over 54 holes.
Barton was led by sophomore
Caden Woodward (Moseley, Va.), who tied for third overall with a two-under 214. The Trojans' Rasmus Ronnberg (Kungsängen, SWEDEN) was the top individual with a 210 (-6) after three rounds of play.
Barton next competes in the 2023 Conference Carolinas Men's Golf Championship from Sunday, April 23, through Tuesday, April 25, at The Preserve at Verdae in Greenville, S.C.
