GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Barton baseball team (16-12) lost to Limestone (11-18) by a 4-0 score Sunday afternoon in the third and final game of a regional weekend series at Founders FCU Stadium.
The Saints' Noah Love (Concord, N.C.) drove in three of Limestone's four runs with a run-scoring double in the third to open the scoring and a two-run double in the fifth frame.
Limestone's Marty Neal (Dulfries, Va.) improved to 2-1 on the year after pitching seven scoreless innings and striking out five batters in earning the win. Barton sophomore

Barton returns to Conference Carolinas play on Friday, March 31, at 3:00 p.m., when the Bulldogs take on Emmanuel in Franklin Springs, Ga., while Limestone hosts Lenoir-Rhyne Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
