WILSON, N.C. – The Barton men's volleyball team (3-15, 3-8) suffered its second straight five-set loss with a 3-2 setback to North Greenville (14-7, 7-3) Saturday afternoon at Wilson Gymnasium in a Conference Carolinas contest.
The Crusaders won over the Bulldogs by scores of 25-23, 23-25, 25-20, 20-25 and 15-6 and swept the season series from Barton.
North Greenville was led by Diego Rosich (Cupey, PUERTO RICO) with 18 kills while Mark Autry (Richmond, Va.) added 17 kills and 12 digs for a double-double as the Crusaders had at least four players with 13 kills in the win.
The Crusaders' Jorge Riegso (Charleston, S.C.) added 62 assists as the visitors hit .312 for the match and totaled 12 blocks in the triumph.

Brandon Johnston (Hawkes Bay, NEW ZEALAND) tallied a season-high 21 kills and sophomore right side hitter
Jake Adams (Clermont, Fla.) finished with 18 kills – also a season-high – but the Bulldogs fell behind by a 6-0 hole to start the fifth and final set and could never recover. Barton sophomore setter

Barton hits the road to take on Queens in Charlotte, N.C., on Tuesday beginning at 6:00 p.m., while North Greenville travels to Banner Elk, N.C., to face Lees-McRae in a league contest starting at 7:00 p.m.
