DUE WEST, S.C. – The Barton women's soccer team (3-3, 3-1) made it two victories in a row with a 3-0 shutout win over Erskine (0-8-1, 0-5-1), 3-0, Saturday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas contest at Huggins Field.

Kassie Krul (Rockport, Maine) scored two goals including a penalty kick just 1:44 into the match to give her a team-leading four scores on the season while freshman forward
Corinne Denham (Greenville, N.C.) found the back of the net for the first goal of her collegiate career at the 61:10 mark of the first half.
Barton held a 25-0 edge in shots taken while senior goalkeeper
Rachel Cox (Wilson, N.C.) earned the victory in goal after playing the majority of the match. Erskine's goalkeeper, Mady Fischer (Key West, Fla.), suffered the loss despite 11 saves on the afternoon.
Barton also kept Erskine winless this season as the Bulldogs opened the three-match road stand with a victory.
Barton remains on the road to take on rival Mount Olive in a league action Tuesday at 4:00 p.m., in Mount Olive, N.C., while Erskine hosts Bluefield State on Tuesday beginning at 3:00 p.m.
