TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Barton women's volleyball team (2-7, 1-1) suffered a 3-1 loss to North Grenville (7-7, 4-0) Saturday afternoon at Hayes Gymnasium in a Conference Carolinas contest.
The Crusaders, who remained unbeaten in league play, defeated the Bulldogs by scores of 25-20, 25-18, 21-25 and 25-20 and increased their winning streak to four matches in the process.
North Greenville was led by Abigail Durham (Easley, S.C.) with 14 kills and nine digs while Ashlyn Conner (Dothan, Ala.) added 44 assists as the home team had three players with 10 or more kills in the victory.

Allison Gambill (Taylorsville, N.C.) finished with a team-high 14 kills and 11 digs for a double-double and sophomore right side hitter
Lily Haaga (Herriman, Utah) chipped in with 12 kills in the setback. Barton was limited to a .109 hitting percentage as well.
Barton returns home to take on host Francis Marion on Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m., inside Wilson Gymnasium in league action while North Greenville travels to Bristol, Tenn., to take on King Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
