WILSON, N.C. – The Barton men's soccer team (3-4, 2-1) scored the final three goals of the match to break the contest open with a 6-2 Conferenc Carolinas victory over Southern Wesleyan (1-5-1, 0-3-1) Saturday afternoon at the Bulldogs Athletic Complex.

Barton freshman midfielder Eric Chavez (Fayetteville, N.C.) and graduate student forward Peer Brendler (Gifhorn, GERMANY) both scored twice in the second half as the Bulldogs won their second straight contest.

Barton freshman midfielder Tommaso Migliarotti (Milan, ITALY) opened the scoring at the 11:21 mark of the first half with a goal on a long lob pass from senior midfielder Nico Rocksien (Jersbek, GERMANY) that measured over half the field which proved to be the game-winner.  Rocksien was credited with the assist as the Bulldogs scored six times in a match for the second time this season.
