HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Barton baseball team (21-18) defeated Coker (13-28) by a 13-6 score Tuesday afternoon at Tom J. New Field and Dave Schmotzer Field.

Barton downed Coker, 5-2, in the season opener on Tuesday, February 1, at Nixon Field.

Barton returns to Conference Carolinas action on Friday when the Bulldogs travel to Bristol, Tenn., to take on King beginning at 2:00 p.m., while Coker takes on Lincoln Memorial Friday at 6:00 p.m., in Harrogate, Tenn.
