WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's lacrosse team (2-4, 1-0) rallied from a three-goal deficit to defeat North Greenville (2-5, 0-1), 11-10, in the Conference Carolinas opener Saturday morning at Truist Stadium and Electric Supply Company Field.

Sydney Quinn (Fuquay-Varina, N.C.) led the way with three goals and three assists including the match-winner as the Bulldogs rallied from a 9-6 deficit late in the third quarter to take the victory. Quinn now has a team-leading 17 goals on the season.
North Greenville lost despite four goals and a pair of assists from Dani O'Meara (Woodstock, Ga.). The Crusaders were hurt by 25 turnovers as the Bulldogs took advantage of several failed clears in the second half which led to scores.

Jordan Hare (Oswego, N.Y.) and freshman midfielder
Renee Perkins (Apex, N.C.) both added two goals for the Bulldogs, who held advantages in both ground balls (24-15) and shots taken (34-22).

Olivia LaValle (Peabody, Mass.) earned the win after stopping 10 shots while North Greenville's McKenna Kees (Greenville, S.C.) suffered the loss in goal despite making 17 saves.
Barton next travels to Mars Hill, N.C., to take on Mars Hill on Tuesday beginning at 2:00 p.m., while North Greenville faces Flagler in Saint Augustine, Fla., on Wednesday, March 9.
