WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's lacrosse team (6-5, 4-0) sent its seniors off in style with an 18-5 victory over Converse (0-8, 0-5) Saturday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas game at Truist Stadium and Electric Supply Company Field.

The Bulldogs were led by a sophomore attacker MacKenzie Camp (Honeoye Falls, N.Y.) and freshman attacker Reagan Kemppainen (Emerald Isle, N.C.) with three goals each as the Bulldogs stayed perfect in league play.

Barton raced to an 11-3 advantage at halftime and never looked back in keeping the Valkyries winless this season.

Barton sophomore attacker Sydney Quinn (Fuquay-Varina, N.C.) scored twice to push her team-leading goal total to 30 on the year while freshman midfielder Kate Matuza (Hampstead, N.C.) dished out seven assists for the home team, who forced Converse into 28 turnovers.  Matuza ranks first on the squad in assists (24) and points (45).
