WILSON, N.C. – The Barton men's lacrosse team (3-2) made it two victories in a row with a 10-7 triumph over Coker (0-5) Saturday afternoon at Electric Supply Company Field and Truist Stadium.

Matt Calleri (Holly Springs, N.C.) both scored three goals while sophomore midfielder
Logan Wheeler (Fuquay-Varina, N.C.) dished out four assists in the win.
Clinging to a 6-5 advantage late in the third quarter, the Bulldogs pulled away with four straight goals to put the Cobras on the back burner. Mitchell tallied his second straight three-score contest while Calleri has a team-leading 10 goals on the year.
Barton held advantages in both shots taken (43-25) and ground balls (38-21) while senior goalkeeper
Trevor Witholt (Murrieta, Calif.) played the first half for the Bulldogs and earned the win after stopping four shots.
Coker was led by Henry Haskett (Adelaide, AUSTRALIA) with two goals while Ethan Hofert (Mooresville, N.C.) suffered the loss in goal despite 12 saves as the visitors continue to search for their first win.
Barton remains at home to take on Saint Leo on Friday at 2:00 p.m., while Coker plays nationally-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne next Saturday on the road in Hickory, N.C., beginning at 4:00 p.m.
