FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – Barton (5-6-3, 4-3-3) and Emmanuel (5-7-1, 4-5-1) finished with a one-all tie in a Conference Carolinas men's soccer match Saturday afternoon at the Stephen Lee Complex.

Blake Grove (Newstead, AUSTRALIA), fresh off a hat trick in a victory over Chowan last Tuesday, continued his hot streak of late with his team-leading fourth goal of the year just 12:54 into the contest.
The Lions battled back to tie the match on a penalty kick by Alexander Panner (Vienna, AUSTRALIA) in the 55th minute and neither team found the back of the net the rest of the way.
Emmanuel held a 15-6 edge in shots taken while Rodrigo De La Terga (Caracas, VENEZUELA) was credited with a save in goal. Barton freshman goalkeeper

Barton returns home to take on Limestone in a mid-week regional contest on Wednesday beginning at 4:30 p.m., at the Bulldogs Athletic Complex while Emmanuel hosts Belmont Abbey next Saturday, October 22, at 7:00 p.m.
