WILSON, N.C. – The Barton men's lacrosse team (7-3, 3-1) celebrated Senior Day in style with a 19-8 victory over Lees-McRae (0-9, 0-4) Saturday afternoon in the regular season home finale for the Bulldogs at Electric Supply Company Field and Truist Stadium.

Mark Crawford (Chesapeake Beach, Md.) and senior attacker
Tyler Thompson (Maine, N.Y.) scored three goals each as the Bulldogs won their third straight game.
Barton showed tremendous balance as six players scored at least two goals while junior attacker
Zach Hodge (Murrieta, Calif.) added a goal and four assists as the home team jumped out to a 13-4 halftime lead and never looked back.
Lees-McRae, still searching for its first win of the year, was paced by Ryan Beauchamp (Courtenay, British Columbia, CANADA) with three goals.
Barton held advantages in both shots taken (45-38) and ground balls (45-32) and won 22-of-30 faceoffs in the victory.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Giuseppe Brown (Gorham, Maine) played the first half and made six saves while earning the win for the Bulldogs. Lees-McRae's Antonio Cruz (Wilmington, N.C.) also made six stops but suffered the loss in goal.
Barton hits the road to take on rival and sixth-ranked Mount Olive in a Conference Carolinas match on Wednesday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m., in Mount Olive, N.C., while Lees-McRae takes on Chowan next Saturday, April 10, beginning at Noon in Murfreesboro, N.C.
