WILSON, N.C. – The Barton College men's volleyball team (1-1, 1-0) picked up its first victory of the season, 3-1, over Emmanuel (Ga.) (0-3, 0-2) in a Conference Carolinas match Saturday afternoon at Wilson Gymnasium.
The Bulldogs won by scores of 25-19, 25-23, 28-30 and 25-15 in picking up their first victory of the season. Barton was led by junior outside hitter
Adrian Iglesias (Guaynabo, PUERTO RICO) and freshman right side hitter
Jayton Hall (Queen Creek, Ariz.) with 15 kills each.

Bartosz Slawinski (Radom, POLAND) added 37 assists for the Bulldogs, who hit .254 for the match and finished with nine service aces including a half-dozen from sophomore outside hitter
Nathan Chaparro (Glendale, Ariz.).
Emmanuel (Ga.), who took the third set to avoid the sweep, was paced by Don Thompson (Haiku, HAWAII) with 12 kills but the Lions hit just .120 for the match.
Barton remains at home to take on Limestone on Wednesday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m., while Emmanuel hosts Queens on Tuesday starting at 7:00 p.m.
