WILSON, N.C. – The Barton College men's volleyball team (2-1) downed Limestone (2-4), 3-1, in an NCAA Division II contest Wednesday evening at Wilson Gymnasium. The Bulldogs won by scores of 25-18, 25-23, 23-25 and 25-22.

Adrian Iglesias (Guaynabo, PUERTO RICO) led the way with 14 kills while sophomore outside hitter
Nathan Chaparro (Glendale, Ariz.) added 13 kills as the Bulldogs won their second straight contest.
Limestone, losers of two straight contests, was paced by Geraldo Rivera (Carolina, PUERTO RICO) with 17 kills and Spencer Saint Eloi (Miami, Fla.) with 14 kills in the setback. The Saints, who won the third set to avoid the sweep, also blocked 11 shots as a team.

Bartosz Slawinski (Radom, POLAND), the reigning league specialist of the week, added a double-double – 43 assists and 12 digs – as the Bulldogs ran their winning streak at home to eight matches dating back to 2019. The Bulldogs also limited the Saints to just .113 hitting for the match.
Barton returns to Conference Carolinas play on Friday when the Bulldogs travel to Banner Elk, N.C., to take on Lees-McRae on Friday beginning at 7:00 p.m. Limestone takes on Erskine on Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m., in Due West, S.C.
