BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Barton College men's volleyball team (3-1, 2-0) won its third consecutive contest with a 3-0 sweep over Lees-McRae (0-2, 0-1) Friday night in a Conference Carolinas match at Williams Gymnasium. The Bulldogs won by scores of 25-14, 25-22 and 25-21.

Adrian Iglesias (Guaynabo, PUERTO RICO) with 11 kills while sophomore outside hitter
Nathan Chaparro (Glendale, Ariz.) added nine kills as the Bulldogs won their 14th straight conference match dating back to 2019.

Bartosz Slawinski (Radom, POLAND) had an outstanding all-around match – 26 assists, five digs, three aces and two blocks – as the Bulldogs limited the Bobcats to just a 0.078 hitting percentage for the contest. Lees-McRae was led by Michael Marsans (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) with seven kills in the losing effort. Lees-McRae was playing its first match since Saturday, January 16, against Lees-McRae.
Barton remains on the road to take on King in Bristol, Tenn., in a league contest on Saturday beginning at 2:30 p.m., while Lees-McRae hosts Mount Olive on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
