WILSON, N.C. – The Barton men's soccer team (1-3) fell to Catawba by a 3-0 score Wednesday evening in a non-league regional affair at the Bulldogs Athletic Complex.

The Indians scored all three times after intermission including the match-winner from Alex Payton (Sayama, JAPAN) at the 61:24 mark.  Payton scored right in front of the net off a header miscue from a Bulldog defender.

Meanwhile, the Indians' Hector Vara (Móstoles, SPAIN) earned the shutout win in goal after stopping four shots.  Barton junior goalkeeper Devin Agostinelli (Apex, N.C.) made three saves but suffered the loss.
