Tomomi Nishihara, LAT, ATC, joined the Barton College Athletic Training Staff in August of 2021 as an intern and will be working with the Bulldogs' football, men's and women's track and field and cross country team and men's volleyball teams this year.  In the summer of 2024, Nishihara was promoted to Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Nishihara graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in May of 2021 with a bachelor of science degree in athletic training.  As a student-athlete trainer, Nishihara worked with the school's indoor track and field, women’s volleyball and football teams.  

Nishihara is a native of Okayama, Japan, and enjoys playing soccer and fishing.
