J.T. Deppe is beginning his third season as Head Men's Volleyball Coach for Barton College in 2025.
Under Deppe's leadership, the Bulldogs increased their win total from zero the year prior to five to 12 victories last season.
Deppe is a 2021 graduate of King University (Tenn.) and was a standout men's volleyball player on the Tornado squad for five seasons (2018-22).
Deppe graduated as one of the Tornado's best-ever players, ranking third all-time in program history in assists. In addition, Deppe led the squad to two Conference Carolinas Regular Season Championships in 2018 and 2019, the 2018 league tournament title and one berth in the NCAA National Tournament in 2018.
Previously, Deppe has served as a volunteer assistant for King's women's volleyball team in addition to coaching at Notre Dame Academy in Milwaukee, Wis., and for the Milwaukee Sting Volleyball Club. Deppe recently interned with the National Football League's Green Bay Packers.
Deppe is a five-time Conference Carolinas All-Academic honoree and earned his MBA from King in July of 2022. Deppe was also the King University Al Nida Award Winner for Male Athlete of the Year. Deppe is a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin.
