Kim Brown is entering his sixth year as Linebackers Coach for the Barton College Football Team in 2025.

Brown is a 40-year veteran in the football coaching ranks and will be beginning his first year coaching in college this fall.  Brown is a five-time league coach of the year in the prep ranks and coached in the 2008 East West All-Star Classic which the East prevailed by a 27-3 score.

Brown also mentored NFL All-Pros Yancey Thigpen, who played in Super Bowl XXX for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Sam Aiken.

Brown, a native of Wilson, N.C., is a graduate of Beddingfield High School.  Brown has been a member of the NCHSAA Coaches Association for the past 39 years.  Brown and his wife, Sue Ann, have been married for 39 years.
