C.J. Cain is entering his third season as Barton Football’s Offensive Line Coach in 2024.

Cain, hired in the spring of 2022, comes to the Wilson, N.C., after serving as Offensive Line Coach and Director of Football Operations at Stonehill College in North Easton, Mass., the fall prior.  Cain was also a Graduate Assistant Offensive Line Coach for Quincy University in Quincy, Ill., in the Spring of 2021.

Cain also coached at several high schools including Saucon Valley (Pa.) in 2019, Cabarrus Warriors (N.C.) in 2018 and The Cannon School (N.C.) in 2017 with the latter two located in Concord, North Carolina.  Cain was an Offensive Line Coach at all three stops.

Cain, a 2017 graduate of Catawba with a bachelor’s degree in sport management, played Carolina Energy at the American Arena League.
