Chase Randolph, born and raised in Harriman, Tenn., is in his second season as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Barton College in 2021.

Prior to the Wilson, N.C., school, Randolph served as an undergraduate assistant at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tenn.  Randolph also served as the pitching coach for the Wisconsin Woodchucks of the Northwoods Collegiate Summer League.

Prior to the start of his coaching career, Randolph played for the Railsplitters where he was primarily a relief pitcher.  Randolph was part of two South Atlantic Conference Tournament Championships and two NCAA Division II Southeast Regional playoff berths.

Randolph holds the school record for most career pitching appearances with 90 and ranks sixth on the school’s all-time list for saves.

We are very excited to grab Coach (Chase) Randolph,” said Barton Head Baseball Coach Keith Gorman.  “A blue-collar mindset will run through this program and that has to start with the coaching staff.  His experience as a player combined with playing at a high level for a winning program and his desire to be a great instructor will help propel our student-athletes forward in this game.”
