MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – The Barton College women's triathlon team finished fourth overall at the Robious Landing Triathlon on Sunday.
Navy took home the team title with 146 points while Barton (50 points) placed fourth overall.
Delaware State's Rebecca Jansen was the top overall competitor, finishing in 57:38.37 while Barton freshman
Laia Fernandez Matas (Barcelona, SPAIN) took 16th overall and was the top NCAA Division II competitor. Matas finished in 1:04:35.29.
Barton hosts its first-ever triathlon on Saturday, September 16, in Sims, N.C., at the Battle at Buckhorn Sprint Triathlon.
