WILSON, N.C. – Barton College has announced the hiring of
Taylor Niemotka as Assistant Softball Coach.
Niemotka has recently been the Head Softball Coach and a Physical Education Teacher at Swansboro High School in Swansboro, N.C.
Niemotka was a first-team all-conference and Academic All-Conference honoree for two years at Pitt Community College in Farmville, N.C., and graduated from East Carolina University in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology.

Taylor is competitive, driven and genuinely cares about helping our student-athletes grow both on and off the field. I know she'll be a tremendous asset to our team, and I'm excited to have her alongside me as we continue building Bulldog Softball."
In 2017, Niemotka led PCC to the Region X Championship and a trip to the NJCAA World Series.
Niemotka was also an Assistant Coach at The Oakwood School in Greenville, N.C., and New Bern High School in New Bern, N.C.
