WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's lacrosse team (6-9, 4-4) ended the regular season in fine fashion with a 19-2 win over Ferrum (3-13, 1-7) Thursday afternoon at Electric Supply Company Field and Truist Stadium.

Berghan Balparda (Melbourne, Fla.) and senior attacker
Julia Erickson (Sunderland, Md.) both scored four times as the Bulldogs snapped a three-game losing streak.
Barton rolled to a 13-1 advantage at halftime and never looked back. Balparda added three assists for seven total points while freshman attacker
Reagan Fish (Lexington, Mass.) added five points – three goals and two assists – in the win.
Barton held the edge in both shots taken (30-17) and ground balls (23-17) while freshman goalkeeper
Alexandra Ashton (Chantilly, Va.) made seven saves in the victory.
Ferrum's Alaia Beckwith (Jacksonville, Fla.) and Makaila Veney (Montross, Va.) both scored for the visitors while Faith Feazell (Callaway, Va.) suffered the loss in goal. Feazell made six stops on the afternoon.
Both teams will now await the announcement of the 2026 Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Championship which will take place later tonight.
