WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's lacrosse team (5-6, 3-2) pulled out a thrilling 14-13 win over North Greenville (3-9, 1-3) Saturday afternoon at Electric Supply Company Field and Truist Stadium in a Conference Carolinas contest.

Julia Erickson (Sunderland, Md.) scored the match-winner with 35 seconds left while freshman attacker
Reagan Fish (Lexington, Mass.) scored a game-high six goals in the triumph.
North Greenville was paced by Ava Walls (Chesapeake Beach, Md.) and Mary Regan (Calvert County, Md.) with three goals each as the Trailblazers rallied from an 11-7 deficit late in the third stanza to take the lead but the Bulldogs prevailed in the end.

Alexandra Ashton (Chantilly, Va.) earned the victory after stopping five shots for the Bulldogs, who held advantages in shots taken (34-22) and ground balls (26-18) in the win.
Trailing by a 13-12 score, the Bulldogs scored the final two goals in the last 3:35 of the contest to remain in the top half of the league standings.
North Greenville's Sydney Spelman (Roebuck, S.C.) suffered the loss in goal despite 11 saves on the day.
Barton hits the road to take on Converse in Spartanburg, S.C., on Saturday, April 4, beginning at 1:00 p.m., in league contest. The Trailblazers also play the Valkyries on Tuesday starting at 6:00 p.m.
