WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's basketball team (14-8, 10-4) made it three victories in a row with a 71-61 win over King (9-11, 6-7) Saturday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas game at Wilson Gymnasium.

Barton sophomore guard Layne Sleight (Jackson, Mich.) led all scorers with 17 points including 15 in the first half while senior guard Lauren Mingo (Clinton, Md.) tallied a double-double – 14 points and 13 rebounds – in the win.
