WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's basketball team rallied from a six-point halftime deficit and rolled to a 79-62 win over North Greenville (7-10, 3-7) Monday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas contest on MLK Day at Wilson Gymnasium.

Lauren Mingo (Laurel, Md.) neared a triple-double – 18 points, nine rebounds and nine assists – as the Bulldogs scored 47 points after the break and came back from a 38-32 halftime deficit to earn their second consecutive victory.
Barton sophomore guards
Celeste Bailey (Virginia Beach, Va.) and
Layne Sleight (Jackson, Mich.) each added 14 points each as the Bulldogs outscored the visitors by a 25-10 margin in the third quarter to take control.
Barton held a 47-23 advantage on the boards and led by as many as 22 points in the fourth quarter in winning their second straight contest.
North Greenville was led by Austin Johnson (Union, Ky.) with 13 points but the Trailblazers turned the ball over 21 times in the losing effort.
Barton hits the road to take on Erskine on Saturday, January 24, beginning at 2:00 p.m., in league action in Due West, S.C. Meanwhile, North Greenville hosts Columbia College on Wednesday, January 21, starting at 5:00 p.m.
