HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Barton women's basketball team (0-3) suffered a 74-52 setback to No. 4 Coker (3-0) Wednesday evening at the DeLoach Center.
The Cobras Shawnteanna Tillman (Columbia, S.C.) finished with a team-high 16 points and was one four Cobras to reach double figures in the victory.
Coker jumped out to a 17-6 lead after one quarter of play and never looked back in the triumph. The Cobras forced the Bulldogs into 20 turnovers and limited Barton to just 14 percent (two-of-14) from behind the three-point line.

Dasani Williamson (Fort Myers, Fla.) came off the bench to score a team-high 12 points while freshman guard
Candice Williams (Greensboro, N.C.) also reached double figures in points (10) in the losing effort for the visitors.
Barton hosts USC Beaufort in its home opener on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., at Wilson Gymnasium.
Coker, meanwhile, travels to Fayetteville, N.C., to take on Fayetteville State on Saturday, November 22, beginning at 2:00 p.m., as well.
